17th Annual Jacksonville Food Fight Thursday
Taste the best of Jacksonville's restaurants at the 17th Annual Jacksonville Food Fight Thursday, June 7th from 6 - 9pm at the Crown Royal Touchdown Club East, Jacksonville Municipal Stadium. There will be sample food from over 40 restaurants, live entertainment, an exciting raffle and silent auction.
Tickets are $50 in advance; $60 at the door. VIP admission is $75. Corporate packages are available. Proceeds will benefit the Lutheran Social Services Second Harvest Food Bank.

Lou Gehrig Day with the Jacksonville Suns
Sunday, June 10 is Lou Gehrigs Day at the Jacksonville Suns 3:05 pm baseball game against the Chattanooga Lookouts. Raffle tickets will be available for great prizes or donations can be made the day of the game to benefit the ALS Association. Kids will receive a free Lou Gehrig baseball card, as well as be able to run the bases after the game. Patients and a caregiver will receive complimentary tickets to the game.

Monique Burr Foundation for Children Fundraiser
The Monique Burr Foundation for Children, a nonprofit organization dedicated to child abuse prevention and education, announces its annual fundraising event at Roy's in Jacksonville Beach. The event begins at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12 at Roy's restaurant, 2400-101 S. Third St., Jacksonville Beach.
The event will feature contemporary Hawaiian influenced gourmet cuisine and beverages, live music and entertainment. Master chef and restaurateur Roy Yamaguchi will join Roy's Jacksonville Beach Executive Chef Chris Faurie and guest chefs Matthew Medure of Matthew's and Restaurant Medure, and Pom Souvannasoth of Pom's Thai Bistro and Old Siam for the event. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Foundation's programs.
