Cost cuts could also affect the library system. Being a major dork, I'm a huge fan of the library.

The second-floor terrace is one of my favorite downtown spots:


The kids section is just plain awesome. It has alligator and manatee benches, and a life-sized flower entryway complete with bug noises:
